16 Days of Activism Against
Gender-Based Violence
In 2022 Woolworths supported 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence by encouraging and empowering people to ‘do something’ to stop sexism, harassment, disrespect and violence towards women that happens both online and IRL.
The campaign featured Instagram and Facebook story posts, each outlining a way to #EndTheSilence
in response to sexism, harassment, disrespect and violence towards women. One story per day, for each of the
16 Days. Three ‘END THE SILENCE’ videos. Each featuring a noted individual in their field of expertise, giving advice and examples of how to #EndTheSilence.
